Alright the Captain + Cheap Jazz European Tour
I've just got back from an awesome tour of europe with a couple of top bands. I was lucky enough to get a free ride acting as 'tour documentarian'. I have piles of tapes, memory cards and mini disks to trawl through before any footage will be available to watch but until then you can read the tour diary here on the Circuit Sweet music blog.

Pennyfest
Pennyfest is a local festival in Derby set up to raise money for Penny's Fund. We made this little film to help raise awareness of Penny's situation and because the sense of community spirit overwhelmed us. It was the hottest day of the year and an amazing success.
For more information or to donate to Penny's Fund please visit Facebook/Penny's Fund.

Brussels Musical Instrument museum (MIM)
The Brussels Musical Instrument museum (MIM) is full of weird and wonderful musical instruments from all over the world. We spent hours in there looking at all the surreal creations. They give you a set of headphones when you go in so that you can hear examples of how each instrument sounds as you pass them. It was difficult getting good pictures with everything being behind glass cabinets but i saw some truely mental looking things. Highly recommended.

Club de Bicyclette
After four years working at South East Derbyshire College they are closing our site down and making me redundant. We made a film to celebrate the building and all the great people i have worked with over the years.

Street Photography

A few shots from Nottingham Town centre. Getting in peoples faces is hard, i don't have the courage yet to photograph the people i really want. The ones you shouldn't point a camera at. I might start telling people i work for LeftLion so i can get their picture. At least then i seem to have a purpose.

Shooting "The Letter"

We just shot our first short under the name "Pinhole Productions". This consists of myself and Tom Stead acting as producer and storyboard artist. After the success of The Hangover i thought it was about time i put some effort in and actually planned a film. It was a great day and everyone involved was awesome. We had a student helping out called \Andrew who brought us a jib and ended up being an invaluable asset to the shoot. Also the Femme Fatale Jo, turned up mid day to shoot a quick cameo and wound up staying all night and brought the Rum and Sambuca for a nice treat afterwards. The film is currently in post but here are a few sneak previews and photo's from the day.

Mountain Biking at Sherwood Pines
Me and Ad went Mountain Biking in Sherwood Pines. It was a good day despite putting too much pressure in my car tyres on the way there and nearly sliding off the road and into the local obituary. We got cheap bike hire from the young lad at the counter who mistook the tenner i gave him for a twenty.
