Portmeirion is an Italian style village in Gwynedd. The village is actually still populated which is amazing considering the amount of tourists swarming around. Beautiful as it is, it is very dificult to get good pictures without fat families wandering into shot with camera phones raised high. Not that we were any different, we just had better cameras.

These are really nice pictures, I am so surprised you only managed to get a few people in the one photo, there were so many about and I like your description of them, tres accurate! My favourite is the second from the top, using the doorway as a frame! x
