SWPP London

Sam and her work colleagues wen't down to London for the SWPP Photography convention and I tagged along for the ride. I was slightly sceptical at first, and i didn't know what to expect. I always thought negatively towards wedding photography as a buisness and expected a stale corporate affair. I was completely wrong, it was informative, practical and completely inspirational. I attended seminars from Damian Mcgillicuddy, Brett Harkness and The Yerbury's, but the highlight for me was a retrospective of the work of John Swannell. His stories were funny and inspiring and it was a great pleasure to be in the presence of such an accomplished photographer. These pics are from the hotel that we stayed in.

Snow

A few shots from all the lovely snow we had recently. The shot above was taken on my new Rollei 35te and is from a little christmas video we made about Hillbilly Darts (A great English sport).

The shot above was taken at Nottingham Arboretum and the one below was in the graveyard opposite. Both we're taken on Ilford Panf film.

Moonlight exposures

I attempted some moonlight exposures inspired by Alejandro Chaskielberg. The image below was taken using Kodak Slide film and cross proccessed, the second image is digital. In both images the subject was illuminated by torch light. In the first Image the subject lit herself, and in the second image i lit her from behind the camera.
