We are shooting a Working Class 70's Heanor era music video using footage kindly donated by Kim from her families amazing archive and extra footage of the band filmed in Super 8 for added authenticity. A trip to Birmingham with the students and some nice architecture to photograph. I love the picture above, it reminds me of a surrealist painting. The shadows and angles in the picture below are quite pleasing too.

SWPP London

Sam and her work colleagues wen't down to London for the SWPP Photography convention and I tagged along for the ride. I was slightly sceptical at first, and i didn't know what to expect. I always thought negatively towards wedding photography as a buisness and expected a stale corporate affair. I was completely wrong, it was informative, practical and completely inspirational. I attended seminars from Damian Mcgillicuddy, Brett Harkness and The Yerbury's, but the highlight for me was a retrospective of the work of John Swannell. His stories were funny and inspiring and it was a great pleasure to be in the presence of such an accomplished photographer. These pics are from the hotel that we stayed in.
